Bill Hall

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I relocated to Viola with my wife Cass in 2013, joining Moscow Realty shortly after.

I have served on the Latah County Board of Realtors for the past 11 years, holding multiple positions including President. Working with the board has helped me keep close ties with Latah County communities, writing grants that have expanded the Scenic Six Park in Potlatch, providing a bicycle fixit station for the Latah Trail Foundation, funding and helping to construct a playground for the Viola Community Center.

Prior to relocating to Idaho, I sold and developed rural acreage with licenses in West Virginia and Maryland. Much of my time was also spent guiding and exploring as I shared my passion for adventure with others as a whitewater, ski, backcountry snowmobile and bicycle tour guide throughout the United States, Costa Rica and Ecuador. Attention to detail earned one of my tours recognition from National Geographic Traveler for designing one of 2012’s Tours of a Lifetime.

With a background also in construction, sustainable living, and green building techniques, I started my family and lived off grid for 10 years in an energy-efficient home built using timber from my property. Keeping up to date in construction, I currently assist my son Angus at his company Konstanty Interlocking Systems installing commercial and residential retaining walls, paver driveways and patios.

My desire to explore has helped me to recognize the unique opportunities in Moscow and Latah County that make this area an attractive destination to raise a family and look forward to the opportunity to guide you to your next home. In my spare time, I can be found biking on Moscow Mountain, hunting, hiking with my family, or playing hockey.
