The North Fork of the Clearwater River runs through a picturesque part of Idaho. This area is home to some great activities like fishing in its many lakes or hiking trails that lead up onto Dworshak Dam - the third highest peak around. Located between Orofino and Pierce, the modest Bald Mountain ski area is a great place to get some fresh air while enjoying winter activities.
U.S Highway 12 is a key road in the area and runs east to west across Clearwater County connecting with Interstate 90 at Missoula, MT, or Idaho State Highway 95 near Lewiston ID.
